The Alaska Brown Bear Skinner/Cleaver is the inaugural knife crafted by Charles Allen, a professional Alaskan outfitter and bush pilot. Designed with the serious big game hunter in mind, the Brown Bear has been field-tested on some of the world’s largest game animals, including Alaskan moose and brown bear. This tool serves a dual purpose as a robust cleaver and an efficient skinning knife. The package includes a leather sheath for safe storage and transport. As a testament to its innovative design, the knife won the ‘Most Innovative American Made Design’ at the 1994 International Blade Show. One of its special features is the rounded Alaskan Ulu point, which provides an extended skinning radius.
