The Alaska Brown Bear Skinner/Cleaver, the inaugural knife from professional Alaskan outfitter and bush pilot Charles Allen, is designed with the serious big game hunter in mind. Tested on some of the world’s largest game animals, including Alaskan moose and brown bear, the Brown Bear is a versatile tool that functions as both a heavy-duty cleaver and an efficient skinning knife. The package includes a leather sheath for safe storage and transport. The knife boasts several special features. It won the ‘Most Innovative American Made Design’ at the 1994 International Blade Show. Additionally, its rounded Alaskan Ulu point ensures an extended skinning radius.
