The Cub Bear Caping Knife is a lightweight tool, specifically designed for intricate detail work. It has been field-tested in the Alaskan bush alongside the Skinner/Cleavers. The knife measures 6-1/2" in total length and features a 2-3/4" cutting edge, making it perfect for fine caping tasks. It comes with a leather sheath for protection. The knife’s special features include double finger grooves for excellent grip, safety, and control. The razor-edged blade with an extremely fine point is ideal for close detail work. The suregrip handles are made from Santoprene, a thermoplastic elastomer known for its excellent resistance to chemical degradation and its slightly elastic, soft, and sticky feel.
