The Geissele Super Modular Rail (SMR) MK8 M-LOK™ is an ultra-modular model, one of the first to use Magpul M-LOK technology. It offers full modularity while maintaining a strong, rigid platform. Maximum venting at the lower 45° quadrants enhances heat dissipation and reduces weight. The M-LOK technology is utilized at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions and the upper 45° quadrants, providing versatility and modularity for user-specific needs. The SMR MK8 features Geissele’s unique 2.25" long barrel nut, increasing surface contact with the receiver for a straight and true platform along the entire length of the free float rail. This improves accuracy and zero repeatability during maintenance disassembly and reassembly.
