HOG is a designation earned by a certified US Marine Scout Sniper, standing for Hunter Of Gunmen, as we specialize in targeting armed adversaries. We HOGs serve as a significant asset for any commander who chooses to deploy us. The design of this blade traces back to an early point in my career as a Marine Infantryman. After spending extended periods in field environments, I found that my hands would frequently ache. I eventually discovered that this discomfort stemmed from the blades I was using, which had Tacti-cool handles with rough edges and sharp corners. While these handles were designed to look intimidating and provide a strong grip, they lacked the comfort necessary for prolonged use. This realization drove me to create a knife handle that would offer superior comfort for sustained fieldwork. What began as a simple project evolved into a quest that would span most of my career.
