The Jaeger, which is German for ‘hunter’, is a knife named after a hawk-like bird that nests near an Alaskan hunting and fishing lodge. The knife mirrors the bird’s sleek and streamlined form, making it possibly the most elegant and sleek knife we’ve ever created. Designed as a top-tier boning and caping knife, it’s lightweight, easy to carry, yet incredibly versatile and robust with a blade thickness of 0.118". The back of the blade features non-slip ridges, providing a comfortable platform for your forefinger or thumb. The handle has individual finger grooves and a deep front finger groove for a comfortable and secure grip. The sheath, made from 100% American split grain cowhide, is vegetable tanned and oiled, and hangs at a 45-degree angle for added comfort. Special features include finger grooves on top of the blade for a non-slip surface and a full tang, double-riveted handle with a lanyard for extra strength.
