TThis attachment, compatible with both ?03 Pro and ?03 Lite, is used on the abrasive holder to establish a convex grind. It ensures a consistent angle shift across the entire breadth of the secondary bevel. The titanium guide rod, lighter than its steel counterpart, minimizes abrasive pressure during sharpening and serves as a replacement for the standard K03 rod. As the abrasive traverses the secondary bevel from the cutting edge to the spine of the knife, the angle range—4.3°, 7.2°, 10.7°—decreases progressively.

The angle range scale is printed on the side of the attachment's body. You have to match the angle hole according to the thickness behind the edge (TBE) of the knife:
• For TBE of 0.2 - 0.4 mm, use the 4.3 degree hole;
• For TBE of 0.4 - 0.6 mm, the 7.2 degree hole;
• For TBE of 0.7 mm or more, the 10.7 degree hole.
